Distance (Oneway from Garda) 5 km to Bardolino // 10 km to Lazise // 20 km to Peschiera

Surface type asphalt, bike lane, easy
This tour is intended for everyone who simply wants a beautiful, calm ride along the lake and thorugh vineyards to Peschiera; this tour is doable on a city bike, but the climb after lazise into the winehills may be more enjoyable by e-trekking or mountainbike.
The highlights of this tour are the beautiful lake promenade; numerous delicious lakeside restaurants; optional: a visit to the Olive Oil Museum in Cisano
and/or a stop in the charming wine villages Bardolino
and/or a visit the beautiful Scaliger Castle in Lazise and/or the port of Peschiera also known as "little venice" due to it's beautiful waterstreets and bridges in the old city centre.
On this tour you can enjoy an ride along the lake and along vineyards and fully savour the lakeside breeze.
Between Garda - Bardolino - Lazise there is a perfect promenade path that is not accessible to cars and is therefore ideal for a leisurely tour directly on the water. Along the route you will find many public bathing spots for refreshing and sunbathing as well as inviting cafés and restaurants directly on the lakeshore. After Lazise, the newly built cycle path begins, which is called "Garda by Bike" and is easily recognisable by the distinctive blue colour of the path. However, as the cycle path is not yet fully completed, many cycle tourists get lost halfway to Peschiera and the only option seems to be to take the busy and dangerous main road. Fortunately, you don't have to do that, because we have prepared for you the perfect alternative route that leads through beautiful vineyards away from the busy main road.
For those interested in the cultural offerings, we recommend a visit to the Olive Oil Museum in Cisano (a dashed line deviating from the route marks the Oil Museum in the Komoot navigation). Besides that also the charming wine town of Bardolino and the Scaliger Castle in Lazise make also for a great visit that should not be missed.

We do not recommend MTB tours that you find from third parties on Komoot or other places on the internet, as these are usually untested and/or often by extreme athletes for other extreme athletes.
