Setting up Komoot
Download our tours directly to your mobile phone in just a few steps!
To set up the tour navigation via Komoot app, please select the operating system of your smartphone. If you have the possibility to open the step-by-step instructions on a second device (a friend's mobile phone, laptop, computer etc.), it will make the setup easier.
Step 1:
Go to https://www.komoot.com/ and select the download.
Step 2:
Log in to the app with your email address. Very important; Please allow location tracking and notifications from the app and be sure to remember the email and password that you enter.
Step 3:
Now always click "Continue" in the app until you see this screen:
Step 4:
Now come back to our website and select a tour that you like.
If you now click on the Komoot link of a tour, the selected tour will open directly in the Komoot app..
It’s best to make sure that the tour really opens in the app and not in the browser version (see next picture for the difference). 
Step 5:
Is the tour open in the app? Press "Save".
If you don't see the "Save" button, then the tour is open in the browser.
Scroll down a little and select "Save a copy of this tour".
et voilá! :-)
Where can I find the saved tours?
Open the Komoot app, then on the bottom of the screen choose to go to "Profile -> Planned".
How do I download the tours?
In the tour view of the app, simply activate the small tick next to "Available offline".
Help, it tells me to pay something?
When you are asked if you want to activate Komoot Premium, scroll all the way down and specifically press the green "Free" button to activate your first region Verona for free. (assuming you haven't already unlocked another region, otherwise you'll need to unlock the Verona region for around 3€).
Step 1:
Go to https://www.komoot.com/ and select download from the Google Playstore. Alternatively, search for "Komoot: Bike & Hike Navi" in the Google Play Store.
Step 2:
Open the app and sign in to the app with your email address, please do not sign in with Facebook as this often causes problems. Very important; Please allow location tracking and app notifications when asked.
Step 3:
Always click "Next" until you see this home screen: (see picture below)
Step 4:
Now go back to our website and select a tour you like. On Android, if you click on the Komoot links of our tours, your tour will not open directly in the Komoot app, but in another browser window. This means that you have to log in there with your email and password again.
Log in again and check if the tour opens in the app or if the tours opens in the browser (see next picture for the difference).
Step 5:
Is the tour open in the app? Press "Save".
If you don't see the "Save" button, then the tour is open in the browser.
Scroll down a little and select "Save a copy of this tour".
